Product Overview

Lab361-329-500C is a laboratory cryogenic adhesive label made with matte white PP synthetic paper face stock for ambient to -40 °C refrigerated environments. Nominal size is 60 mm × 60 mm square, supplied in a vertical 1-column full-roll layout, 500 labels/roll. The matte-finished face stock delivers sharp print and barcode edges with low glare, suitable for numbering and identification of refrigerated tubes, test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, reagent bottles, as well as storage locations and packaging. The roll has a 76 mm core ID and 66 mm release liner width, and can be loaded directly into BBP12, MACH4S, i5100 and IP300 printers, used with BRL000 series ribbons.

Key Features

方
1:1 Square Large Format
Each label measures 60 mm square, a large-format specification within the Lab&HC refrigerated range. A single label can carry multiple data sets such as specimen number, batch number and batch records, reducing the need to stack multiple labels.
列
Vertical Single-Column Full-Roll Layout
The full roll feeds in a vertical 1-column layout, with 3 mm edge margin, gap and pitch. Single-column feed is stable during continuous printing, with no label overlap or misalignment.
筒
76 mm Core, Direct Loading on Desktop Printers
76 mm core ID and 66 mm release liner width, a standard spindle diameter for desktop models. Ready to load out of the box, no spindle adapter or modification required.
温
-40 °C Refrigerated-Grade Face Stock & Adhesive
Matte white PP synthetic paper face stock with cryogenic adhesive withstands -40 °C refrigerated environments, maintaining stable adhesion both at ambient handling and in refrigerated storage. Suitable for routine refrigerated specimen and reagent management.

Typical Applications

Refrigerated Tube & Test Tube Numbering
The 60 mm square format fits a number and barcode side by side on a single label. Applied to tube bodies or rack partition cards, it supports both scanning and manual verification.
Reagent Bottle & General Container Identification
The matte white PP synthetic paper face stock adheres to glass and plastic reagent bottle surfaces, ideal for labeling reagent name, opening date and expiry date.
Biobank Zoning & Packaging Identification
The large format supports multiple fields in parallel such as location number, batch number and operator, and can be used in batches for cryobox dividers, specimen transport boxes and outer packaging cartons.
Batch Printing with Consistent Height
Vertical 1-column layout with 3 mm gap and pitch, working with desktop printers for continuous printing. Labels feed in batch-number order, keeping the labeling pace in step with the feed pace.

FAQ

Q: Can this label be placed directly into a -80 °C freezer or LN₂ dewar?
A: No. T329 material is a matte white PP adhesive label with a lower temperature limit of -40 °C, a standard refrigerated grade. If specimens require long-term storage in a -80 °C freezer or -196 °C LN₂, use T429 polyester or T629 nylon cloth cryogenic labels instead.
Q: How much information fits on one 60 mm × 60 mm label?
A: The page specification is 1:1 square, 60 mm per side, accommodating combinations of number, batch, date and barcode fields. Actual information capacity depends on printer resolution and font size. We recommend proofing the layout before placing a bulk order.
Q: Is the BRL000 series ribbon mandatory?
A: The page specifies BRL000 series ribbon as the match. To ensure print adhesion and scratch resistance in cryogenic environments, we recommend using the same series as specified on the page. Before switching to another ribbon, run labeling and low-temperature tests first.
Q: What is the purpose of the R corners and 3 mm gap?
A: Each label has R3 mm rounded corners, with 3 mm edge margin, gap and pitch. Rounded corners reduce edge lifting after refrigeration, while the 3 mm gap and pitch leave feed tolerance for continuous printing, ensuring smooth full-roll feeding.

Layout & Information Arrangement Guide

The 60 mm × 60 mm 1:1 square layout is suited to block-based zoning: place the specimen number or QR code in the upper zone, and the barcode plus date, batch and other text fields in the lower zone, so scanning and manual verification do not interfere with each other. For batch printing, fix field positions and font sizes in the print template; the 3 mm gap and 3 mm pitch across the roll ensure labels do not overlap during continuous feeding. If the information for a single label exceeds the capacity of the 60 mm square format, adjust font size and field priority at the proofing stage rather than compressing to an illegible minimum font size.

Selection & Usage Guide

1
Confirm Storage Temperature First
For ambient to -40 °C refrigeration, choose this T329 model; for -80 °C freezers, choose T429 polyester; for -196 °C LN₂, choose T429 or T629. Temperature grade directly determines the material; cross-grade substitution is not recommended.
2
Then Confirm Container & Labeling Surface
Suitable for cryovials, test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, reagent bottles, as well as storage location and packaging identification. For irregular containers such as conical tubes, request a free sample to test conformability first.
3
Finally Confirm Printer Setup Parameters
BBP12 / MACH4S / i5100 / IP300 can be loaded directly. Before loading, verify that the 76 mm core and 66 mm release liner width match your existing spindle.
Note: This model is T329 matte white PP adhesive label with a lower temperature limit of -40 °C, not suitable for -80 °C freezers, -196 °C LN₂, 100 °C hot water or 121 °C autoclaving. The temperature description in the page title is inconsistent with the specifications on this page; for selection, refer to the official T329 material specification on this page. For irregular containers such as conical tubes, run a conformability test before labeling. Actual adhesion is affected by container material, surface cleanliness and operating temperature; please proof before bulk use.
